Created to showcase the Bay Area as the epicenter of culinary innovation and draw attention back to Northern California, SF Chefs became one of the great national foodie experiences in its first year. The four-day food and wine festival located in San Francisco’s Union Square, hosted approximately 5,000 guests with private dining experiences, classes, tours, parties in the tent and a grand tasting. Offering hands on experiences for trade and consumers, guests were drawn from local, national and international destinations. Together this event integrated celebrity chefs, wine makers, media, luminaries, authors, vintners, mixologists, culinary experts and distillers to showcase innovative tastes and flavors of Northern California.
