Best of San Francisco Magazine 2015

DPEM was thrilled to be the production partner for Best of San Francisco Magazine for the 11th year. The event brought together the city’s top restaurants, wineries, entertainment, and lifestyle brands in the Bay Area to celebrate this year’s award winners.

DPEM helped San Francisco Magazine relocate the event to a new, more intimate home (The Village at 969 Market) and transition the audience demographic to a majority of invite-only and Best of winners. Only a small number of tickets were available for sale to the public—compared with previous years when the majority of guests were ticket buyers. DPEM created an exclusive experience that made every guest feel like a VIP. All guests had access to every restaurant tasting, featured wine, and entertainer. Larger sponsors created lounges and interactive activations that were open to all attendees. In addition, DPEM provided event design as well as on-site management and logistical support.

SKYY Vodka: An Education in Innovation

SKYY Vodka retained DPEM to manage the program’s main event: An Education in Innovation. Guests were brought to the penthouse of One Kearny Club. This event took a deep dive into the innovation and progressiveness and allowed guests to immerse themselves in the product and explore what is possible – SKY(Y) is the limit.

Set-up reception style, stations set throughout the space featured a progressive food and beverage pairing. Designed and served by Rye on the Road, each of the cocktails presented were created with a different SKYY Infusion flavor, prepared with skilled technique and innovation. Paired food played off of the ingenuity in the cocktail. DPEM mixed interior design accents and elements with SKYY branded décor to keep the event elevated and give the feeling that guests were in a beautiful penthouse apartment. DPEM managed event concepting, venue solicitation and management, food and beverage arrangements, décor and design, and on-site logistics.

Benefit Cosmetics: Billion Dollar Party

Benefit Cosmetics recently enlisted DPEM to help manage and execute the Billion Dollar Party for their employees, a celebration of the brand and the people behind it. Guests were shuttled from Benefit HQ to the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. The day began with an awards ceremony that was “benetized” and branded for an immersive experience. Guests then enjoyed a lunch that highlighted neighborhoods of San Francisco, as Benefit being founded in San Francisco ia one of the key pillars of their brand. Designed to bring the Benefit Cosmetics brand to life, DPEM designed the program’s main event, “Benefair,” to personify the brand’s DNA to guests through activation of their story, services and star products. The hotel’s outdoor courtyard was completely transformed into a Benefit-themed fair through brand relevant décor and activities, for a day of fun.

DPEM managed programming, décor and onsite logistics, acting as a liaison between the hotel and the client to ensure that the client could focus on the awards and presentations.
