Summer Bucket List

Right up there with swimming in the ocean and grilling outside, we’ve curated the ultimate Summer Bucket List.

- Breathe deeply and watch the sun rise through the fog over Alamo Square this summer at free yoga classes in the park.

Sunrise Alamos Square

- Get some friends together, grab some popcorn and a bottle of wine, and head out to Dolores Park, Washington Square, or Union Square for free outdoor movies.

Outdoor Movie2

- Whip up a fresh Caipirinha, a lovely Brazilian cocktail made with just 3 ingredients, for the perfect cocktail to enjoy on a warm summer night.

- Bike through the salty breeze of the Golden Gate and wheel your way to Sausalito for a sunny game of Bocce Ball at Bar Bocce, which sits waterfront on Richardson’s Bay.

- Taste some of the most delicious food at Off the Grid’s Sunday Picnic in the Presidio.

- Venture out to Marin County and discover a beautiful swing overlooking the Bay Area. The entrance is top secret, but we’re happy to share with you: enter through 100 Gilmartin Drive, Tiburon, 94920.

- Indulge in an “Ice Cream Crawl” through the city and treat yourself to the best and most tasty spots of San Francisco. Some of our favorites: Bi-Rite Creamery, Three Twins, and Smitten.

- Hike through the trees and enjoy breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge in the Marin Headlands.

DPEM’s 4th of July ‘It List’

From the invites to the hostess gift, we’ve got the list to make your Fourth of July celebration complete. Take a look at our favorite things for hosting a patriotic party at home.

We reduce our reliance on paper as often as possible, and love the adorable e-vites that are cropping up. These vintage invitations are as nostalgic as they are patriotic.

A hostess gift is a must when you are a guest in anyone’s home, and this nautical wine carrier is perfect for summer picnics and events.

A party ain’t a party without a proper cocktail in our book. This summer has proven to be quite warm, and we can’t get enough of this ice tea spiked with St. Germain and bitters.

A great way to make a statement is to style your food just as much as your decor. Look to our Pinterest for more inspiration in the food & beverage department.

We love to keep our tabletops and decor simple and effortless looking, creating a relaxed and comfortable space for our guests. A few vases of gorgeous seasonal flowers, linen napkins and crisp white plates – it’s as easy as that! (More at-home decor and design tips on our Pinterest boards!)

Every party needs a scrumptious dessert to finish it off, and there is nothing like strawberry shortcakes in the summertime.

If you are anything like us, then you have plenty of food leftover after your parties. We love this super cute way of giving guest leftovers to take home.

And most of all, relax and enjoy YOUR Fourth of July!
